OF FRIESIAN CATTLE,

Record prices were realised in London recently at a sale of Friesian cattle. Forty-seven cattle brought £25,000, an average of over £540 each.

An imported cow was bought for 5000 guineas. Another cow with a two month' calf was sold for 3000 and 1600 guineas respectively. An imported bull sold for 1500 guineas. . ,
