AN UNHOLY ALLIANCE
To the Editor
Sir, —Mr Veitch thinks it clever electioneering to talk about an "unholy alliance" between the official Labour Party and the Reform Party in Wanganui. Such an alliance would not only be unholy; it would be unnatural. But will Mr Veitch tetll us how he regards the alliance of Mr i'Jas. Aitken, 8.A., an elder of the kink, and a man who claims to be a Prohibitionist, and Mr George Durham, who i- to praise God on Sunday evening by publicly championing the cause of the liquor trade in His Majesty'a Theatre.—l am, etc., O.L!
