The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. report:—At the Wanganui East yards on Wednesday we had a fair yarding of sheep and a large one of cattle. Competition for sheep wias fairly good, but cattle met with rather a dragging sale. We quote: —M.S. woolly hoggets 30/5, shorn weether hoggets 23/6, light fat ewes and wethers 30/-, m.s. Polled Angus yearlings £4/14/-, backward store cows £5/5/- to £6/10/-,
The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their London house, under date 29 th November, 1919: —Tallow: Fine mutton £105 per ton, good beef £103 per ton, mixed £96 per ton. Market dull, with downward tendency.
