CHURCH NEWS.
At the evening service in Wanganui East Presbyterian Church, the Rev. G. W. Blair will give an address on the work of the General Assembly, which has just concluded its sittings at Invercargill. Special services are advertised to be held in the A ram oho Methodist Church on Sunday, in connection with Young People's Day. The ntorning service for children ■ and parents will be conducted by the Rev. B. Dudley, assisted by the young people, and is likely to prove exceptionally interesting. Mr Dudley will a!so hold a Sunday School service in the afternoon, when all the scholars are expected to lie present. In the evening: Mr F. Wliitlopk will take chargej and given an address on "The Scene in Pilati's Hall," and Mrs Sobsy will sing a solo. .
Church anniversary services are to be held at Westmere. In the afternoon

preachar, and the evening service will bo conducted by the Rev B. Dudley. Collections oil Sunday at the Church of England services will be in aid of the Clergy Pension Fund. The subject to be dealfc with at the I'ngest'.e Street Baptist Church to-mor-row evening is "What is Liberty* and Am I My Brother's Keeper?" ' The preacher will be the Rev; Stanley Jenkin. •■"■ : "
Young People's Day will be observed at the St/. Andrew's Presbyterian Chumi to-morrow at the morning service. Booklets prepared by the C.eo.«>rn\ Assembly, containing the hymns and tho oixbr of service will be used, and the Rev. David Campbell will speak to the children on the subject set, "Who is My Neighbour?" All parents and friends interested in young people's work are cordially invited to. attend. Trinity Sunday School 'anniversary services will be conducted by the. Rev. G. F. Sto.'-kweli to-morrow at 11 a.m., 3 p.m., and 7 p.m. A special feature of all services will bo the so.'os, choruses and hymns of the large children's choir, assisted by a fine orchestra. The anriiversarv concert will be held on Tuesday evening.
