HOUSE RENTS by 3/- to 5/- per week. They advised yon, if not in favour of Prohibition, not to vote for it with Compensation in April, but to GET IT FOR NOTHING NEXT TIME. NOW THE TRADE WANTS YOU TO VOTE for State Purchase at a cost of £10,000,000 to £15,000,000, including about £5,000,000 AS COMPENSATION. If £4,500,000 meant such enormous increases in the cost of living, WHAT WILL BE THE INCREASE if the Trade receives £10,000,000 to £15,000,000?
