THE ITALIAN CRISIS.
SPEECH BY THE KING.
i (Reuter.) Received December 5, 1.10 a.m. v ; ROME, December 2. The King, in the course of a speech frdm the Throne, affirmed that Italia^i aspirations in the' Adriatic did no^t conceal any military design. The defence of Italian populations on the Acmatic constituted an indisputable duty and right, but Itajfy ' had no imperialistic ambition and did not intend that the peace of Europe should be disturbed. , Italy viewed with the liveliest sympathy the rise of the forking classes, which must tend to an. intensive programme of production and ever increasing democratic co-operation amongst the nations.
