ST. JOHN AMBULANCE.

~^JO A big effort is being made in Wellington to establish a general ambulance station, fitted with all necessary first-aid requirements. The need for such an establishment in a large city, especially when, that city happens to be the main shopping centre for the country, is very obvious. It.is the privilege throughout the British Empire of the S< John Ambulance Association to initiate and to organise the work of firstaid in accident and in cases of sudden illness. Brine, of the St. J.oar Ambulance Brigade, soliciting tin united help of Wanganui, througl them, for Wellington's Ambulant Day, December sth, by fomvardmj gifts of flowers, fruit, or produce foi sale on that date.
