GRAND THEATRE
"THE PRICE OF A GOOD TIME,"
TO-NIGHT.
Peter Mine, the greatest of picture critics, writes in the Motion Picture News: Lois Weber's Jewel production "The.Pr? c of a Good Time," which was screened last night at The Grand for the first time, is based on a story entitled "The Whim," by Marion Orth, and advances the sound impeachment that in the environment of the home rests the influences that predominate in a young person's future life. To scare away this point she introduces two girls, one from a happy home and the other from the most contrasting surroundings. Her picture deals largely with the latter girl, -ho after a taste for luxury that lasts one short week, is unable to bear the return to her sordid lift, and suffer the stinging suspicion of her mother and brother. The picture resolves itself into a human story, well told and entertaining to the last. Seats may be reserved at TTPton's.
