LOST IN THE BUSH.
A YOUNG MAN'S EXPERIENCE

A young man named J. White, when going for cows on Thursday evening got lost in the bush ac Karioi. A search party was out all night, but failed to find him, and it was feared he perished as the night was bitterly cold. The police were communicated with, and a search party organised. It "found him this afternoon. It appears that White fell over a log and was stunned. On recovering consciousness he wandered in the dark in the wrong direction. When discovered he was in a dazed condition, but otherwise was uninjured.
