Dalgety and Co., Ltd.. report Laving held'their usual fortnightly stock sale at the Wanganui East saleynrds on the 7th inst., when they offered a small yarding of sheep and a fair entry oi cattle. Although competition was dull throughout the sale, the bulk of the yarding cltangedfhancisj prices in every case being in buyers' favour.
Following is n range of values: —• 3-year steers £10 10s; cows in calf £R 2s 6d to £7: 20-months heifers in calf £5 los to £6; mis^d sex iveauers £2 2s to £3 15s; small weaners 21s to 355; yearling steers £3 16s to £5 3s; small' lambs 7s 9d.
