Dalftety and Co., Ltd., Palmerston North, report having a good yarding of both Sheep and Cattle at their. Hunterville sak- on Tuesday. 6th May. Bidding for sheep was animated and all lots sold under the hammer. Cattle were slow to quit and most lots failed to reach reserves.
Quotations : —Sheep : 2-th. wethers, 15s; 2-th. ewes 255, 21s 6d: 4 and 5-yr. owes, 17s 4d ; empty ewes to 18s; good wether lambs. 13s: "medium lambs 7s 6cl to 11s 4d; cull lambs 3s to 6s 4d. Cattle : Jersey heifers £o 10s; empty cows £5.
