THE IRISH PROBLEM.

NEW YORK, May 6
The "World's" Paris correspondent states that President Wilson's assistance has been invoked to obtain safe conduct to Paris for De Valera, Griffith and Plunkett in order to present the Irish case before the Peace Conference. The correspondent was tol ld that President Wilson was likely to heed the wishes of the Irish sympathisers.
