BRITAIN'S GREAT EFFORT.
LONDON, May 4. j An official synopsis of the British ' offorts m the war period shows that the output of aeroplanes for the iir.st ten snionths was 5302, and for the last ten months 26,685. The aeroplanes t-sed j bombs weighing 201bs in 1914, and 3,000 lbs. in 1919. Two officers and three men were engaged m photographic reconnaissances in 1914, compared with 250 officers and 3,000 men in 1919. Over 5$ million prints of nerial photographs were issued by the Air Service in the war period between July, 1916 and the armistice. Seven thousand tons of bombs •were dropped. The total flying time was >03 yeiirs. Nineteen million rounls were fired at ground targets.
