VIGOROUS SPEECH BY MR. HUGH&S.
\ PARIS, April 21. Five hundred Australians add New Zealanders attended tile Anzac dinner nt the Palais d'Oruay rtotW. Mr. VVM. Hughes presided, General Pau was present, and had a great ovation. Mr. Hugh©s ; responding, said *svery Australian' gloried in tije achievement of Australia's soldiers, who were profud to fight alongside &t& New Zealan^ers and to share the glories of the name of Anzax}. He had no wish to criticise the Council of Vmr for not revealing tne peace terms before they were handed to Germany, but it was a grave error to fix the terms within.
