THE "SINKING' FUND for -be liquidation of the principal sum raised under such loan is to be provided by tlie appropriation and setting aside by the Board, out of its revenue, of a su.ti equal to ten shillings per centum on che a moan t of all unredeemad bonds, debentures, and other securities given to secure the said loan or anv part thereof previous to the then current year, and the payment of such Mini to Sinking Fund Commissioners to *oe appointed by the Board, under the provisions of the said Wanganui Harbour District and Empowering Act, 1913. SUCH LOAN is to be raised by the issue by the Board of 1500 debentures of One Hundred Pounds (£100) each, under the seal of the Board, payable thirty years after the issue thereof, and secured under The Harbours A_ vfc, 1908, as a first charge on rll moneys in the Harbour Fund (including the proceeds of any rates that may be leviad from time to time by the Board undi^r the Wanganui Harbour District and Empowering Act, 1913). excepting moneys pledged as security for any loans or appropriated to any speci.il purpose prior to the issue of such debentures. It is proposed to pay out of the loan the cost of raising the loar*. and the ir.terest and* sinking fund ior the first year. No money is to be borrowed as part of such loan at a rate which shall produce to the lender a higher rate of interest than Five pounds ten shillings (£5 10s Od) per centum per annum. A poll of the ratepayers of the Wanganui Harbour District shall be taky-i on the 80th day of April, 1919, up in the proposal of the said jJoard to raise such loan. Date! the 27th doy of March, 1919.
