A SERIOUS CHARGE.
NELSO:,', March 6. In connection with the death of the girl, Friede Ruby Sandel, the police arrested at Sandy Bay a married woman named Caroline Fletchpv, a resident of Nelson, on a charge of unlawfully using an instrument with intent to procure a miscarriage. She was brought before the court at Motueka and remanded to appear at Nelson an Saturday.
