The Rev. A. J. Seamer was appointed superintendent of Maori mission work for next year, by 107 votes, to Rev. Blair's 37.
The Rev. T. G. Hammond, present superintendent of Maori mission work, assured Mr. Seamer of his hearty .support in his work amongst the Maoris, who he said, as a whole were loyal to the church.
The Rev. Joseph H. Simmonds was reappointed Principal of Wesley Training College, Three Kings, for three years.
The Home Mission and Church Extension fund showed a credit balance of £583.
The Rev. Geo. Bond said that everything considered, the statement was highly creditable, and the income of £8447 was a record one. The following is the first reading of Home Mission appointments : — Taranaki-Wangfinui District.— Waitnra (Priti), one wanted; Stratford (Midhirst), one wanted; Cape EgmouD (Opunnke), C.
