INFLUENZA IN VICTORIA.

MENT.
Received January 23, 11.10 p.m SYDNEY, January 23.
A special Cabinet meeting decided to ask the Federal Government to put into immediate operation, if influenza has got into Victoria, the Federal State agreement adopted in November. Providing that Victoria be declared an infected State. All land traffic, with the exception of goods and mails, would be suspended between Victoria and other States;, and interstate sea traffic permitted only under the strictest quarantine.
