One of the finest games in the.Dominion Bowling Tournament was played to-day between Rosemond and Hewson ('Gisborne) v. McClaran and Maxwell Walker (Ponsonby) in the* final of thePairs Clrampionsblp. Excitement at the finish was intense, when Hewson dretv the shot with his last bowl when his opponents lay 3. There! was some suspense when Walker, who had another bowl, elected .to drive, but he ran wide after g'ancing the bowl in front. of "kitty," and the game ended: Gisborne, 16; Ponsonby.. 14.
