NATIONAL WAR LOAN.
NEW SERIES TO BE ISSUED.

LONDON, January 20
The Press Bureau states that the Treasury will notify War Loan subscribers after half the subscriptions are receivable. The new series* of .the national war loans will be at five per cent, for five, or for ten years, subject to income tax, or four per cent, for ten years. The tax to be compounded on the first-named series will be issuable at par and redeemable at a premium, and on the last-named series are issuable at 101 Vz per cent, and redeemable at par.
