WANGANUI EAST DANCE.
A very successful dance arranged by tho ladies of Wangr.uui East, was held in the Wanganui East Town Hall on Friday evening, in aid of Mrs John Me. Ginger's day for the ".Our Day" appeal. The Queen Alexandra Band played the mu^ie for the full i>rogramme, which naturally added greatly to the pleasure of tho evening, and tha ladies wish to specially thank the band for their kindly assistance. Thanks are al<o expressed to a'l those owners of motor cars who, in view of the tramway breakdown, did their best to convey the dancers, as well ;is tho band, to end from the hall. A considerably .-urn has, a s a -result of the dance, been added to the "IVanganwi East contribution to the Red Cross SubCentre fund rvor the object in view.
