CHEESE OUTPUT.
DEFINITE OFFER FROM THE IMPERIAL GOVERNMENT.
(Per ?r~oc Association.) WELLINGTON, Oct. 24. Mr Massey stated in the' House to • day that the Imperial Government had made a definite offer fo:; the output of cheese. He would submit the price to a meeting of cheese producers next Wednesday.
The price was 9fd. f.o.b. The price offered for tho butter 'output is 157s per cwt. It is understood tliat tliese offers are regarded by the Government as final._ They have to be considered in the light of the grave difficulty in procuring shipping space, unless the Imperial Government arranges shipping.
