"OUR DAY" APPEAL
Our readers are reminded of the great united effort to be made on Ctetober 17th1 toy the combined Red Cross and assisting societies, in connection, with "Our Day" Appeal. A large and representative committee of citizens has the iratter in hand, and it h intended to rai.se £3000 if possible for our New Zealand sick and wounded. Doubtless Wanganui's effort will do credit to our town.
Mr C. E. Mackay (lion, treasurer of "Our Day" appeil) acknowledges the sum of £9 Is from Mrs Sutherland, of Fordell.
