EMPIRE PARLIAMENTARY ASSOCIATION.
WELLINGTON, September 2. The Empire Parliamentary Association, which has done so much to promote . fraternity among legislators throughout the British Dominions, is arranging for a delegation of Parliamentarians to visit India after the war. An invitation has.been received by the New Zealand members, who will shortly select two from the Lower House and one or two from the Legislative Council to make the trip. This is evidently part of a compi-ehensive plan ,to promote improved relations between the Dominions and the great Indian dependency. Mr Massey and Sir Joseph. Ward on their last visit to England were invited/ to spend a fortnight in India as the guests of the Indian Administration when they returned to New Zealand, but owing to their long absence they were obliged to decline this attractive invitation, tlKwgh it may be regarded simply ac postponed.
