PETROGRAD, Sept. 3.At the SukhomlinofC trial, M. Roclzianko gave evidence that the Duma, before the war, recognised Sukhomlinoff's criminal slowness in regard to the organisation of the army. Accused, after the -outbreak, systematically resisted the Duma's efforts to stimulate the production of shells, notwithstanding appeals from the front, including the Grand Duke Nicholas. M. Rodzianko sa;d he specially journeyed to Galicia. What he saw there filled him with terror. He dramatically indicted Sukhomlinoff for the enormous losses suffered during the retreat from Galicia. Other political personages gave evidence which directly attributed Russia's unpreparedness to Sukhomiinoff.
