Received Sept. 3, '8.15 p m LONDON, September 2. Eleven German escapees were recaptured.
COPENHAGEN, Sept. 2. Survivors state that the trawlers were carrying great quantities of food for submarines. Suddenly j they discovered that British war- ■ ships had surrounded' them and that, their only escape was through Danish waters. The 3ritish fired 1500 rounds. Two German submarines and two seaplanes participated. The fate of the submarines is unknown.
