CROSS
The rooms of the sub-centre of the New Zealand and British Red Cross will be open for work to-morrow from 1.30 to 5 p.m. ,'
The Patriotic Red Cross Shop will be in charge of Mrs. H. Purser to-mor-row!. Home-made cooking will be an attraction, and there will also be for sale a quantity of children's useful clothing. Donations of saleable articles are invited.
Considerable interest is being taken in the spring flowers and bulb show which will be, held in the Christ Church. Sunday Schoolroom on Wednesday, the 12th inst. Classes for cooking and fioweis are included for children, and it is expected that the various schools will be represented. Catalogues may be obtained from Messrs'T. H. Rice and Co., or Mrs. E. H. Suisted, the hon. secretary of the sub-centre.
