A VESSEL'S ADVENTURE.
BLUFF; Septo-nber 3. A strange vessel stranded on the William Davio bank outside the Bluff Harbour soon after eight o'clock on Saturday night. The harbour rug took a pilot aboard the stranger, and as the tide was making the vessel floated off.about ten o'clock. The ]:i'tie sea which was running kept the bio- ship moving, preventing her settling in the sand. The sand having t logged ' the condensers, the ship had to anchor in the channel till they were -leared, and she then entered port, berthiag at three o'clock on Sunday morning. Ihe captain states that the vessel is rot leaking.
