Wright's stables at Foxton, went ;up to Bulls on Wednesday and schooled PaAverewere over brush fences. The Sir Laddo gelding gave a good display and will be a starter in the Hack Steeplechase at Marton.

The' Hy'mettus colt, Hymestra, one of the best of last season's two-year-olds, has Avintered Avell. He has not grown up much, but he has lengthened and 'finished nicely, and S. Waddell expects him to race prominently in his three-year-old engagements.
