_ .. . ROME, Aug. 30. Italian official.—We drove back strong counter-attacks made in efforts to retake positions on the Bainsizza Plateau, westward of Gorizia.
We maintained .our positions, and advanceu at some points. An enemy attack " between Vipaeco and Dossofa-iz failed.
We repulsed thrice repeated attacks m the Travenanzes Valley.
