AMSTTRDAM, August 29. • Reports of the Moscow Conference proved a great disappointment in Germany, where it was hoped would forsake the Allies. Newspapers disclose chagrin. The "Lakal Anzeiger" says Germany was \prepared to offer Russia honourable ipeace.
