LIBERAL PARTY MEETING
WELLINGTON, August 30. A full meeting of the Liberal Party was held this morning, when all the members in Wellington .were present, and Sir James. Carroll a.t.d Messrs Glover and Ell, who are absent, were accounted for. .Sir John Findlay was welcomed as a member of the party. A general discussion took place on matters'of interest to the party i and the : following' resolution was unanimously passed: "That this meeting of members of the Liberal Party aesiro to pledge continued confidence -.n and loyalty to their leader. Sir Joseph Ward, and wish to leave the settlement cf all matters affecting the party to him."
