HIS MAJESTY'S.
A good and varied programme of pictures is being screened at His Majesty's Theatre at present. The chief picture is "The Angel of Mercy, ' or "Darkest Russia," in which Alice Brady plays a strong part. Much of the action of "The Angel of Mercy" is laid in Siberia, and extraordinary effects have boon obtained of the desolate snow wastes and neait-breaking loneliness of the "prison country," to which so many high-spirited Russians have been consigned. ■ 'Charlie Chaplin in the clever Mutual comedy, "Behind the Screen," which, apart from its merit, as a in ugh producer, \s a fine and effective showing of what goes on in a movie studio!
On Monday the manageemnt will screen an entirely new programme,, headed by a, fine Triangle drama, "The L'.ttle Brother," featuring Enid Bennett in the prettiest love story yet released by this company. Another episode of the serial. ''Gloria's Romance," entitled "The Vow Fulfilled," is included in the programme, besides good supports.
