THE SPANISH STRIKE.
MADRID, August 14. The strike has assumed the character of a general movement, with a revolutionary tendency. The calling up of reservists has been authorised in order to prepare for emergencies. Disturbances have been reported at various points, but all is quiet in the capital.
LONDON, Auguet 14. Telegrams from Spain indicate that many have been wounded in collisions between strikers and soldiers at Madrid.
