Another excellent attendance at His Majesty's hist night. A village Magdalene in the heroine of " The Last of the Ingrams," and the emotions of sucn a tempest-tossed soul trying to live down, a past are delicately pourtrayod by Marjory Wilson. "This place looks a good deal more like Cape Cod t-atin Cape Cod itself" was the verdict -A the Triange director after his man had made enorn-.ous efforts to get a piece of coast line near the Tiiangle studio, which would really resemble the cold and forbidding country, in which are laid the scenes of "The Last of the Ingraans." To-da/ (Wednesday) a double programme will be screened, including "The Angel of Mercy," featuring Alice Brady, also Charles Chaplin, in his latess, ".Behind the Screen."

EVERYBODY'S

"The Spoilers" and "The Barricade"' attracted another large attendance lasfc night, and created the greatest enthusiasm. "The Spoilers" undoubteely ranks as one of the greatest photoplays! ever screened in Wanganui, and adds further to the laurels of. Everybody's. "The Co-operative Weekly" i s a highly diverting and instructive picture, whilst the comedy, "Doctoring a Leak," kept the audience m shrieks of laughter. The final screening takes place tonight. The star feature in to-morrow's programme is an exclusive picture in five reels, entitled "The Woman Who Dared," -which has! been attracting crowded bouse® wherever shown. In addition, a Unity Comedy drama, in five parts, '-'The Lottery Man" and "The Blindness," a Mutual drama m two acts, will be presented.

VENETIAN ORCHESTRA.

AT OPERA HOUSE,

On Wednesday evening, August 29, the Venetian Orchestra will give their second recital. Mr Charles Schilsky, visiting examiner to Trinity College, London, ha* very kindly consented to conduct the orchestra and, in addition, to render violin solos. Mr Schilsky is an accomplished artist of European repute, and his items alone should attract a packed house. Music lovers should note the date and turn up in force, for a genuine treat is promised.
