AMERCA'S PATIENCE EXHAUSTED.
COMPUTE EMBARGO ON
NEUTRALS.
Received 1-10 a.m., Aug. 14 NEW YORK, Aug. 13. The Times" Washington correspondent says that the State Department, which until now has been opposing an nltra-severe embargo, has finally sanctioned the complete rationing of neutrals suspected of supplying Germany, ihe failure of neutrals to supply the figures which the United States requested, to support their claims that they are not supplying Germany, has convinced the State Department of the need for a drastic embargo being continued indefinitely. Mr Hoover announces that be is ready to take over the entire wheat ration immediately, unless speculation is discontinued. It is stated that the commission is fixing the price of 191? waeat, and that thereafter wheat will bo exported principally in the form of flour.
