AIR RAID ON ENGLAND.
LONDON, August 12. A squadron of twenty enemy aeroplanes this afternoon skirted the coast towards Clacton, where they divided a part turning towards Margate. Tlu remainder crossed the coast and dropped bombs m the neighbourhood oi Southend, also Margate. Reports a.* to damage or casualties have not yet been received.
Our aircraft pursued the enemy sea--wards.
