IN FLANDERS.
LONDON, August 12. Sir Douglas Haig reports: The weather is wet. There is strong fighting for possession of a mine crater eastward of C-ivenchy and Tez Le Basse. We have established ourselves in the crater.
The enemy artillery is active east and north of Ypres.
