THE ENEMY'S OBJECT.
TO MAKE DECISIVE BATTLE OF WAR.
OUT TO KILL.
Received 1-10 a.m., Aug. 14. LONDON, Aug. 13. Mr. Gibbs says : The enemy apparently wish to make this the decisive battle of the war. I cannot see how they can hope to decide it in their own favour, after the loss of Pilken and Westhoek Ridge, but they are out to killj regardless of their own losses.
