RAIDERS DRIVEN OFF.

Received August 13, 9.30 p.m. LONDON, August 13. Enemy aeroplanes were seen approaching at a great height. Numbers of airmen ascended from Clacton and Margate' to meet them. Sharp fighting followed. Anti-air-craft guns were also busy from Margate. The enemy were driven seaward after dropping four bombs on the eastern part of the town.
