SUPPOSED SUICIDE.
BLENHEIM. August 13. The decomposed body of a woman was ftmnd on the beach at Ruakaka, (>een Charlotte Sound, on Friday, and was identified at the inquest as that of Mary Jane Gi-ant, employed with her husband, James Grant, at Meadowbank station. Deceased disappeared on July 12th, leaving a note saying she was "getting out of it." The jury found that there was no evidence to prove how deceased got into the water. She was about 30 years of age. She leaves two children. Her relatives resid at Petone.
