EVERYBODY'S

"THE BARRICADE" AND "THE

SPOILERS."

The programme to be presented today at Everybody's includes two more big features from the Metro and Selig studios. The first feature is one of the most attractive of Metro photoplays, in which dainty Mabel Taliaferro has not; yet been seen, entitled "The Barricade." In the part of Hope Merrill, a br:lliant socipty girl, Miss Taliaferro has the opportunity for i, lavish display of beautiful gowns and rich jewels." A variety of social functions is given a "The Barricade," such as teas, weddings and musicals. Operations in Wall Street are shown, and there are thrilling scenes in "the curb" and "on change." The second feature is the remarkable film adaptation of Rex Beach's book, "The S;:oilera.!' This remarkably well-written stnnv as probably the greatest favourite of all his books, and no doubt this fact prompted the Selig Company in their choice of which of this author's many books should be singled out for screen adaptation. No expense was spared by tho company to retain in the prodiiction all the wonderfull thrill, romance, and rugged and picturesque scenes and char/icters mo well described in tho book. The supports include a, screaming two-part comedy, "Doctoring a Leak," and "The Cooperative Weekly."
