Messrs Lansing and Gerard were entertained at luncheon by Count Bernstorif. It is understood they exhaustively discussed German-American relations previous to Mr Gerard's return to Berlin next week
The United Press announces that Mr Gerard will carry America's last word on submarining, including notice that there will be no more waiting. If there aro any further violations of Germany's pledges America will break relations. '~-..,
