_ LONDON, Nov. 26. lhe Channel raid has stimulated the demand for a more vigorous Admiralty policy and the arming of all merchantmen. ■ " Lloyd Weekly's" correspondents at Margate and Ramsgate agree that there was little excitement on Thursday night, when it was calculated that the gun-fire was ten miles away. Vivid flashes lit the horizon, and many quitted their beds and joined the crowds on the sea-front.
