PATROTIC FUNDS
FINE YIELD OF WHEAT.
REALISED £466 17s. 6d.
Mr. T. B. WiCliams, Chairman of the Patriotic Funds Committee, yesterday received from Mr. Allison, through Mr. Mackay, the Mayor, a cheque for £233 Bs. 9d., for the Belgian Food iFund. This amount represents half the proceeds of 40' acres of wheat sown by Mr. Lethbridge at Turakina, and is to be devoted to the Belgian Fund. The other half is being put through the Rangitikei patriotic funds.
