WELLINGTON, Mar. 23. The barometer'lias been very high in the south, but fell on Sunday, and is bow comparatively low in the north. Rain has fallen—in many parts, with strong southerly winds, and the weather is generally dull. Present indications are for strong south to south-easterly winds, cloudy and misty weather, with rain over the North Island and east coast of the South; heavy rain probable, with rivers rising between East Oape and pastJepoint. Barometer unsteady, rising temporarily in the south..
