THE PROCESSION
A bizarre crowd formed the procession in St. -Hill Street. With the Queen, Alexandra's Band in front, the line was composed of a fine turn-out by-tho town and suburban fire brigades, the Salvation Army, and many who partdepated in the earlier procession. From the starting point, along Ridgway St., up the Avenue, along Guyton St., and to the grounds, the line wended its way, accompanied by one of the happiest crowds one couldl wish to see. Several of the carriages' were kept brilliantly illuminated with various coloured lights, while every few seconds fireworks were brought into. play.
