TRIUMPH AND B.S.A. SWEEP THE BOARD AGAIN. At the North Canterbury Motor Cyclists' Club's beach race meeting at New Brighton on Saturday last there were two events. The first was a4B miles race. This was won by W. HolJobon (Triumph). Second place was filled by C. Bonnington (Trumph). Both these riders are amateurs. Fastest time was put up by F. Howarth (Triumph), who filled third place. The second event was a side-car race over 16 miles. J. H. Michael (B.S.A.V won the race. C. Bonnigton (Triumph) second, and G. B. Brown (Triumph) made fastest time for single cylinder machine. Michael's win was particularly meritorious, as his*sidecar tyre punctured " four miles from home. He stopped and removed the tyre, finishing on the rim. The magnificent performance of the Triumph and B.S.A. in the club's three days' trials in December will still be fresh in the memories of motorists. The latest successes prove that neither the Triumph nor B.S.A. flukes its victories. They can always repeat their performances. The side-car successes prove what wo have always maintained: that the 3$ and 4 h.p. single cylinder machine has plenty of power for eide-oar work. There were twin cylinder machines in both events on Saturday. Call and see the new 1914 Triumphs and B.S.A.'s. ADAMS, LTD..
