OBITUARY.
DEATH OF MR F. A. BREMER
The many Waverley and Rangitikei. friends of Mr F. A. Bremer, of Okaiawa, will learn with extreme regret of his demise, which took place at New Plymouth on Saturday last. Th© deceased had been ailing for some time past, but the end was not expected to have been so close. Mr Bremer was born in South Australia 66 years ago and arrived with his parents in the Dominion when in his teens. The family resided at Marton for some time, and subsequently removed to the Waverley district. Later, the deceased took up land in the Whjamara and Okaiawa districts, and throughout New Zealand ihe was known as a successful breeder of Clydesdales as well as of Lincoln stud sheep, and Ayrshire cattle. He leaves a family of five, two sons — Mr P. Bremer, farmer, of Matapu, and Mr L. Bremer. fanner, of Oka•,vai—and three daughters: Mrs T. C. List and Mrs C. M. Hill, of New Plymouth, and Miss Bremer. The interment took place at Henui cemetery yesterday,, but was of a private nature.
