WELLINGTON (3) v. SOUTHLAND (nil.)

Southland won the toss and pushed right to the mouth of the goal. Wellington retaliated, and obtained a corner hit. A hard shot followed, but was ii fraction out. EETAHKUNA (3) v. WEST COAST

Little interest was taken in this contest, which was played on Rec. No. 2 during the progress of the other A Section games. At the start Eketahuna played all over the Coasters, and ran up three goals, but before no-side had been sounded the red and whites had scored .two goals, the game thus ending in a win for Eketahuna by three goals to two. ,
